Believe me, if you need gas within 100 miles of Roy's place you would never think twice about those prices

That's a great monochrome photo to capture the mood of the era.
Across the Mojave Desert on I-15 they jack up the gas prices on Friday to Sunday. Seems these isolated gas staions on Route 66 charge even higher all week.
