This is a Ukrainian Church in Red Deer shot with my newly acquired 14mm F2.5 lens and a EPM-2 body. The building looks quite plain from the outside but the inside has some wonderful decoration.

This was taken with the 14mm mounted on my aging but still reliable (and relatively diminutive) Lumix GX1 body. The subject: the hood ornament of a 1947 Dodge Brothers flatbed truck, in Ashland, Oregon.

They don't make 'em like that, anymore (the trucks, I mean, and those gorgeous old hood ornaments; fortunately for mu43 photographers, Panasonic is still making the lovely, tiny, 14mm pancake).

I'm really loathe to admit it but I do, sometimes, see a bit of the fabled 'pop' with this lens....but maybe it's there...maybe not ..who knows?
But, I really love this lens...cost, size, weight, IQ...with the occasional purple fringing on my Oly controlled pretty well with DXO PL3

Used with the MCON-PO2 close-up lens. Getting a bit closer, combined with the14mm's DOF, makes semi-macro shots like this quite easy.
