However, there's a thing to be aware of with the STC adapter
The adapter is designed so that the lens hood touches the filter when tightened. It means changing filter requires you to loosen the adapter and then the filter to avoid scratching the filter (not as straight forward as with threaded filters in general). A circular polarized filter will also touch the hood while turning which doesn't feel great... My solution to both these issues was to carefully grind the hood top, about one mm was sufficient. I know everyone wouldn't like to do that with an expensive lens but it solved both these issues. The hood does not touch the filters at all, solving the polarizer issue, and its now convenient to change filters as normal without loosening the adapter first. As the adapter is permanently on the lens, I dont worry at all about that lost hood mm

Notes:
1. No vignetting when using STC ultra slim filter products
2. Basically what PeHa said in the post above, loosen the adapter before changing filter.
3. Vignetting due to the (7-14mm) lens design will still exist
4. Due to optical design structure reasons, when using Olympus adapter, some camera needs to be set to 3:2 format to avoid dark corners; also some camera will see dark corners when set to 7mm and focussing close-up. (So far we tested the following: dark corners appears due to sensor on Olympus E-M1, E-M5II, E-M10II, EPL6, Panasonic GX7. no dark corners on Olympus E-M5, E-M10, E-PL7, Panasonic GF1)

For info, I bought solely the adapter without STCs filters for other filter options (I think that made it cheaper, at least it was the intention ). With these slim filters, Benro CPL and NISI UV, there's no vignetting on an E-M1 II or an E-P5 (haven't tried the other cameras listed above). I couldn't find an 105mm slim ND3 filter so I bought a thicker Haida which means vignetting at the widest angles. All three filters stacked here (just to show, not for imaging).

As I grinded the hood top a little, it means the filters will come a little closer to the lens and make the vignetting less than otherwise when stacking or using a thick filter like the Haida ND3 (with the Haida, vignetting is gone from ~7.5mm).
